This 14 karat gold locket is brimming with unique traits. Starting with its trefoil sunray bale that fans out and provides a perfect balance for the square locket it holds – hung on the diagonal. The locket is hinged along the lower straight edge and opens to reveal space for two round photos. At the center is an old European cut diamond that weighs approximately 0.15 carats and is approximately J color and SI clarity. The pendant is finished with a decorative frame of abstract geometric patterns in black and blue enamel. Likely made in the early 20^th century.

This locket is in excellent condition. It measures 1.5” long including the bale, and 1.125” wide and hung on a 19” 14 karat curb link chain.
