One can receive any number of hearts in a lifetime – the red box full of chocolate kind on Valentine’s Day, the colorful emoji kind on any old day. But once in a lifetime, a special heart like this comes along. This locket in the shape of a heart is handmade in 18 karat gold and set with a round ruby, which traditionally symbolized passion. Made c. 1900 during the early Edwardian era and fitted with space for two photos on the interior.

This pendant is in excellent antique condition. It measures 1.0” long, including the bale, and 0.5” wide. A variety of chains are available separately for purchase.
