Not everyone daydreams of rivers flowing with diamonds, but we sure do. This necklace is a classic riviera, or French for river, and is so named for the flowing line of diamonds. This superb necklace set with 20.88 carats of old mine cut diamonds in traditional silver on gold collets. Silver on top but the gallery and everything that touches the skin is hand fabricated in 18k yellow gold.  The stones are approximately I-J color and SI clarity and set in individual settings, linked together as a chain. The necklace is of modern make, while the stones are old cuts, likely faceted in the 19th century. Measures 17.25" long and features a floral box clasp set with diamonds.

The best part is the way it drapes.
