A pendant with presence: this amazing 18k Art Nouveau jewel depicts the "new woman" of the late-nineteenth century with sultry Gibson-girl hair and a choker of tiny rose cut diamonds. Her profiile is set against a background of floral granulation, and finished with a natrual pearl dangle. The reverse is expertly engraved with a large monogram, one last wonderful antique detail. This pendant dates c. 1890, and is in excellent antique condition.
