We can think of at least ten reasons to fall in love with these earrings. Numbers one through six are clear: each of the six graduated cabochon rubies of a romantic deep red hue. The seventh: fifty bright white old mine cut diamonds, faceted and selected by hand to form the surround of each ruby. The eighth: handmade silver on yellow gold settings, at once traditional and timeless. The ninth: the elegant, face-framing design of formal length and subtle graduation. And last but certainly not least: the legendary grand entrances made each and every time these earrings are donned.

Made c. 1880 these earrings feature six cabochon rubies that total to approximately 3.50 carats. The rubies are set in silver on gold cluster settings surrounded by fifty old mine cut diamonds that total to approximately 5.15 carats. The earrings are in excellent antique condition and measure 2.75” long, excluding the ear wires.
