Old European cut diamonds evoke the elegance and charm of a bygone era. They were most popular in the 19^th and early 20^th centuries and have become as rare as the ethos they embody: that things made by hand, albeit slowly, have a soulfulness and unique magic that is worth the wait. So, for our Gray & Davis stud earrings we chose antique old European cut stones in celebration of that ethos and the distinct artistry behind each diamond.

These earrings are made in 14 karat yellow gold with four-prong basket studs. The backs are custom tension closures with specialized post backs both for added security and comfort for all day and all-night wear. Set with one 0.78 carat old European cut diamond certified by GIA as J color and VS2 clarity and one 0.77 carat old European cut diamond certified by GIA as J color and SI1 clarity. 1.55 carats total weight. Old diamonds set in modern mountings, made by Gray & Davis in 2023.
