Victorian Coral Archaeological Earrings

$0.00

In December 1867, Harper’s Bazaar described the jewelry that might be seen in fashionable NYC shop windows, including Neapolitan coral designs “after the antique, classical, and Egyptian.” Even though 150 years or so have passed since this article was published, we still think this bright pair of coral earrings looks quite fetching in our West Village windows.

18K yellow gold coral earrings. Lovely bright oval cabochon coral surrounded by a petal motif frame. Happy tiny round bead with leaf motif finial hangs below. Victorian, second half nineteenth century. 1.75” in length.
