c.1877 Victorian Earrings
This formidable pair of Victorian earrings would be an excellent addition to any antique collector's jewel box. Crafted in 18k yellow gold by Dobson & Sons, Jewellers and Silversmiths to the Queen, c. 1877. Golden spheres on beaded wire swing from classically-inspired, foliate motifs. A fine example of nineteenth-century English craftsmanship, with an aesthetic as interesting today as it was 140 years ago. In excellent condition, complete with original fitted leather box.
