A butterfly flutters by on a summer’s day. A moment in time too easily forgotten, but here memorialized forever in diamonds, sapphires, rubies and warm yellow gold. The old mine cut diamonds total to approximately 3.50 carats, the rubies total to approximately 0.80 carats and the sapphire weighs approximately 0.50 carats. Set in a hand-crafted 18 karat gold setting, made c. 1890 during the Late Victorian era.

This brooch is in excellent antique condition. It measures 1.5” wide and 1.25” tall.
