When it comes to great Art Deco jewelry, beautiful stones and impeccable craftsmanship are par for the course. But artful design, and creative use of materials, now that takes a stroke of genius. This little golf club brooch is just such a stroke. The grip is made of smooth cabochon sapphires in the cheeriest of blue, the shaft in a graduated line of old cut diamonds, and a pearl of perfect scale and color to mimic a golf ball.

This brooch is in excellent antique condition. The single cut diamonds weigh approximately 0.23 carats, late Art Deco c. 1930.
