Serene Butterfly Cuffs
Serene Butterfly Cuffs
These bracelets conjure daydreams of a Sunday stroll through a perfectly wild English garden. The entirety of these matched Victorian cuffs is a field of hand engraved swirls that gently sparkle in the background like dew in first light. The tangled, black enamel vines culminate in petunias in varying stages of bloom and a sweet butterfly passes by who’s so precisely engraved you can see the delicate color patterns of its wings. If serene was a piece of jewelry, it would look something like this.
A pair of Victorian matched bracelets made in 14 karat yellow gold with tracery black enamel florals and butterflies with a stippled finish. Made c.1880 in America. They are in excellent antique condition and the inner circumference measures 6.125 inches, and they are 0.75” wide.
