Multistrand Georgian Bracelet
Multistrand Georgian Bracelet
Down to the last detail this bracelet doesn’t disappoint. Women the world over are flocking to minimalist jewels, polished gold with perhaps a few diamonds at most – a style from which this ornate masterpiece couldn’t be further. Made during the lifetimes of the likes of Emily Dickenson and Beethoven, an age where jewelry craft was honed over generations and to make an ornate piece was to showcase hard-earned mastery. Whoever made this spent days building the delicately twisted coils and sunflowers, carefully prong and bezel set each of the garnets, emeralds, and single ruby to create a one-of-a-kind treasure that has withstood the test of time. The 7-strand chain sits snugly on the wrist and holds the center filigree piece securely in place. Made by hand with great care c.1830.
This bracelet is in excellent antique condition. It measures 7 inches long.
