Etruscan Revival Pearl Bracelet

$3,100.00

Across millennia and miles of the globe the gold bracelet in untold forms has clinked on the human wrist. This bracelet joins their ranks as uniquely of its own time: the late 19th century. Yet, it was born of an infatuation with a culture far older. It was made c.1870 in the Etruscan Revival style and took its inspiration from the gold jewelry of the Etruscan tombs that were being unearthed in Italy at the time. Handmade in 15 karat yellow gold with exquisite applied wirework and granulation. Additionally set with a graduated row of natural pearls - rare treasures that largely disappeared from the oceans in the 1920s. Hinged for easy on-off and perfectly dainty for everyday wear.

This bracelet is in excellent antique condition and was made during the Victorian era. The inner circumference measures 6.25” and the bracelet measures 0.25” wide at its widest.
