Mario, A character in his own right, was the jeweler to the aristocracy and the eccentrics alike in the early 20^th century. As the story goes, he was exhibiting at Madrid’s 1920 Exposition, caught the public’s attention when he chucked an expensive compact out a window when a woman asked for a discount, shouting, “I am not a tradesman!”

The public was curious…very curious. The next day his booth was overwhelmed with interest and he sold everything. As relevant today as there were 8 years ago, he understood gold design and women and made timeless jewelry.
