An all-purpose kind of chain, this 14K yellow gold woven chain is hand made from gold wire. The double link is not only decorative but also durable and sturdy. In its heyday, a hefty pocket watch would have dangled from the 14K rosy yellow gold swivel and anchored the chain. At 30 inches long, this chain easily slips over the head. The swivel is approximately  ¾ of an inch in length. This piece was most likely made in America, c.1870-1900. 

Condition:  This chain is in very good antique condition and has light signs of wear commensurate with age.
